As Founding Director, I was tasked with creating and managing a 17-day internationally recognized fine art program for teens ages 14-16.
- Establish The Vision: Created the vision and then led staff as we established the culture, goals and pathways to realize that vision.
- Brand and Market the Program: Being solely responsible for enrollment, I creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan. Involved crafting copy for brochure, ads and website that reflected the mission, values and overall vision of the camp while establishing key selling points, and inspiring parents to action.
Involved extensive design work from establishing the brand to producing all print and digital materials including brochure, ads, email templates, banners, conference displays, and website.
- Provide Leadership: Hired a staff of 16 faculty and counselors and designed and taught a 2-week staff training program. Provide 24/7 daily leadership involving mentoring of staff, and students.
- Oversee All Operations: Oversaw all operations, including creating and adhering to budgets, liaison with school personnel and parents, and handling all behavioral and disciplinary issues.
