Katherine Michiels School is a private infant – 5th grade school in Mission District of San Francisco. It provides a progressive environment for the education of children focusing primarily on the Reggio Emilia model.
While they had an excellent reputation within the educational community, they needed to reach new audiences and retain a higher percentage of existing families. I was tasked with helping to shape the message of who they were and create a brand that reflected that messaging. I also created, implemented marketing plans and collateral materials to boost enrollments and retention including websites, brochures, ads, logo, signage, and conference displays.
In addition, I consulted with the Director and leadership team in areas relating to group dynamics, hiring, staffing, & professional development. I also worked directly with teachers on team leadership skills, evaluation methods and improving their program outcomes.
